Meet Tlalli (Aztec meaning 'Earth'). She is a gorgeous five-year-old female Xoloitzcuintli, spayed and UTD on vaccinations. She is potty-trained and crate-trained. She is very sweet and obedient as long as she understands who is in charge and what is expected of her.Tlalli is a very special girl in need of a very Xolo-savvy home. She is beautiful, brilliant and requires a lot of exercise, training, continued and regular socialization as well as a home that can provide an environment of safety and security. She gets along with dogs and cats, goes to the off-leash park every day and is great with people who understand her breed.
Tlalli was turned into rescue due to her family’s inability to control her. In the wrong type of home environment Xolos can become fearful, dominant and aggressive. Tlalli has experienced living in chaos she does not do well without structure and consistency. Requirements for her adoption will include enrollment and completion of a basic obedience class with a pre-approved trainer and at least one more obedience/training class within the first 12 months of her adoption.
