Tillie was found in a very poor state on a beach in Southern California. Luckily she was rescued by the local animal control who called us to help her.They did not consider her adoptable due to her health.
She sadly passed away while in the care of her loving foster family on 15 February 2006.This from her family:
Our sweet old girl crossed over at 4:45pm. She had lost the sparkle in her eyes and her body was tired but she left us in Janna's loving arms and surrounded by those who loved her.
Tillie was very special and loved with all our hearts. The best thing is that Tillie knew she was loved and she was happy. Tillie let us know this with her silly, side mouth kisses; her happy stiff-legged jog around the yard, always checking with those beautiful eyes of hers, to make sure we were watching; her high-pitched bark and standing on her back legs to get her favorite liver treats; or how she would always rest her head in the crook of your arm with her body pressed close to your heart. With all the love she was given and gave back to us, it broke our hearts when her frail heart gave out and she crossed over the rainbow bridge. We know she breathes easily now and rests in peace our sweet Angel Face, Tillie.
