BackUPDATE (18 May, 2006)
'The Baby', as we call him, still weighs just under 6 lbs but is a little taller and his hair is getting fuller. I was told he'd be two-years-old before he got his full coat - I guess we're officially there next month.
Shadow is the cutest, cuddliest, sweetest baby and everyone loves holding him. He'll go to sleep in anyone's arms! He also loves to curl up and go to sleep in my doggy carrier that is like a soft papoose thing. I'll get ready to clean the house and Shadow will just follow me wherever I go, giving me those 'please hold me' looks, so then I'll bring out the papoose and he just starts dancing! I'll put him in the carrier and then we look like a kangaroo momma with her baby. Shadow will stay there as long as I let him. He is just too cute!
You'd never guess he's the one that attacks our first Chinese Crested, Bonzai, every time we first walk in the door. He just terrorizes Bonzai and then I finally have to sit down so Bonzai can jump up on my lap and get away from Shadow. He's relentless!
It seems like Shadow still sees ghosts - he'll be the only one at the front door just growling and howling his little head off. I'll look outside but I don't see anything. Very weird! I then just give Shadow the 'shh' sign and he'll go off on his merry way, with that little tail just bebopping back and forth.
We absolutely love our little one and he's a very happy boy.
