UPDATE (15 May, 2006)BackI thought I'd send you a little update on Pixie Dust. We have finally settled a little better up here in Alabama.
Pixie has been really getting into being country dog. She lives on a 45 acre farm and she thinks her herding skills are grand. It is the funniest thing to watch her try to herd my mother-in-law's goats! Then when we go to my parents farm (20 minutes from here), she tries to herd the horses and chickens!
I have come to realize that she really has none of the Chinese Crested traits, except for the dancing on the back legs. The rest of her is all Xolo. So she is one sweet, unusual little girl. Well not so little, she is about 16 lbs - of legs!
All of her acne has cleared up and most of the blackheads are gone. There are a few on her back legs, but she hates for me to get them off her. So I do a little at a time.
The kids are always playing with her and trying to dress her up. As you can see from one of the photos, they even try brushing her hair on head and she lets them. She has never once bitten them or been snappy. She has one of the sweetest personalities! When any of us are feeling bad or sick, Pixie just snuggles up besides and watches over. She is very sensitive to feelings. I have to be careful when I raise my voice at the kids, because sometimes she thinks it's at her. She'll look at me like I have beaten her! Poor baby.
We love our Pixie Dust!
