UPDATETink is doing really well and we are attempting to get her certified so that we can take her to rest homes to visit the elderly. This is an idea that we had discussed and both of us believe that Tink would be a big hit. We'll let you know how it goes if we can ever get her certified. We have been having trouble getting in touch with the individuals who do the certification.
UPDATE (16 May, 2006)
I got a call from Tink's new dad (well not so new - I can't believe it's been over a year already!) and he had some great news to share! Today Tink passed her final test to become a certified therapy dog and Canine Good Citizen! Mom and dad have been such wonderful parents to Tink and have put tons of effort and love into teaching her to not only be a wonderful part of their family but now to be able to bring happiness to many others through their nursing home visits. :)
