BackUPDATE (June 2005)
Well, I can't believe it, but I've had Kuka for 6 months now, so figured I better send in an update.
She is finally starting to be happy absolutely all the time. Her tail is almost never tucked beneath her and it wags nearly constantly. She is loving with every person who comes over and she even tries to cuddle up next to our min-pin once in awhile. She eats like a moose and all our friends and neighbors say she looks so much better and happier now than when she first came here. That does my heart good.
I adore this sweet angel. She follows me everywhere, leaps onto my keyboard sometimes when I'm working and does all kinds of funny things. She sleeps in the crook of my legs under the covers at night and she has more clothes and different outfits than I do. She is my little angel.
I couldn't be happier to have little Kuka in my life. Thank you again, everyone who had a hand in her coming to live with us and be our baby. I can't imagine my life without this little one in it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KUKA!
I just wanted to share this Happy Birthday picture with you. Since Kuka was a rescue dog and we don't know when her real birthday is, we decided her birthday would be on December 1, the day we adopted her. She has been with us for a whole year today! We can't believe how much her personality has changed and what a different dog she is now. She zooms through the house with her tail wagging and rarely acts sad at all. She's a real fireball now!
