Ed has been adopted (September, 2007)!UPDATE (September, 2007)
We made it OK. We came home late Saturday and we both slept most of the day on Sunday.
His tail I'm a little concerned about. I've been watching it closely. It's red and swollen. This morning it looked like the swelling went down some, but he's eating OK and acting fine. He's managed to pull out some of the sutures, but his tail looks intact. Looks like the vet put some surgical glue along with the stitches. Thank goodness. If it doesn't look any better by tomorrow, I'll have to bring him in to the vet. Otherwise I'm hoping I can stretch this until Friday. I just don't want to upset him more than he needs to be. He's already mad at me for putting on his E-collar. Man, he knows how to milk it. But I love him.
