Chili has been adopted (July, 2008)!UPDATE (24 September, 2008)
It's been three months since we brought Chili home with us and she is firmly embedded in our hearts. She gets along well with Joe and Spike, although she and Avon still get snarly face with each other and we continue to keep them separate except when closely controlled and supervised. All three dogs are working on training to improve their relationship and at least they are all becoming very well trained dogs. We are prepared to wait and work on Chili's and Avon's relationship for as long as it takes, eventually they will get along.
They all do fine on walks together and we try to take them out early in the morning as often as possible. When the weather starts to cool off, we will be able to take them walking daily.
