Boris has been adopted!UPDATE (15 March, 2006)
Things are still very good here! He is turning out to be such a fun, funny little dude! We are trying to settle him in with a normal sleep schedule - the last two nights he's been a night owl, playing with the other dogs and trying to keep Kayla up! Cracked me up! He is going potty outside 95% of the time and he was great during a haircut and couple of baths. Kayla put a coat on him yesterday and took him for a walk around the neighborhood. She reported no problems at all! So far so good! YEAH!
UPDATE (14 July, 2006)
Things are absolutely wonderful! He has made his spot within our family and life would not be the same without him! He has truly bonded with my daughter Kayla, when she is with him, he doesn't leave her side. When she has to go to school, or even just take a shower he goes crazy! She takes him everywhere he is allowed and even just walks him right in some stores! People laugh, stare, point and pet everywhere they go! She tells them about his breed history, his life history and the truly amazing adventures of his adoption! Everyday, they go for their walk and as soon as the leash comes off the hook, he is raring to go! The other dogs love him to death, they play and play and play. There are stuffed animals all around the house, yard - you name it! Needless to say, its going great!

Boris is awesome and quite the character! I have attached some recent pix of him - Kayla has let his facial hair grow out, she thinks he looks cute like that! One is with his other crested cousins while we were camping, a couple of just him and the other of him giving me a kiss while camping!
