Bernie had been adopted (January, 2008)!UPDATE (19 January, 2008)
Bernie has learned Sudoku - he's quite good. We have given him a haircut. He's perfect, the most wonderful little guy we could have imagined. He's our little Velcro Tater Tot. I put him off the bed three times and so he came up the other way and sleeped on Kristi's head! Oh my, we love him.
UPDATE (12 February, 2008)
Bernie is doing very well. We have a number of nicknames for him now. One of our favourites is 'Stick.' It started because I noted that his long bony front legs are like sticks when he is on our laps, moving around, knocking things over, etc. and him being a Velcro dog and all, he sticks to us, too. So, I like to call him Stick a lot. His favourite person is Kristi. I call him her boyfriend when I'm not calling him Stick.
